This story increases awareness of the food insecurity and vulnerablilty of the population. Scientists need to give free technological advice and educate the masses into the best way to harness natural resources without causing further environmental damage.

Its great that someone could get to Eritrea. The story is so vivid I felt I was there in the heat with the wind blowing !
